On March 12, 2019, at 9:16 p.m., an individual called 911 to report he had been robbed at gunpoint in south Moorhead after offering a stranger a ride.
Officers responded and met with the victim before setting up a perimeter for a K9 track with the help of Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol. The track was unsuccessful and the scene was eventually cleared.
This case is still ongoing and additional follow-up will be conducted in the coming days.
