Due to winter weather conditions, the West Fargo Public Library has rescheduled the Meet the Artist event with photographer Jon Solinger that was scheduled March 10, 2019, to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7.
Jon’s exhibit Working Land refers to two facets of rural landscape: the idea of working the land as a vocation and as a description of productive ground. The photography focuses on six family farms in Otter Tail County, Minnesota and the people rooted to these places. The exhibit includes pictures of each farm and a diagram or visual representation of the people living and working on the farm and how they are intertwined.
Join us 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019, to learn more about his process, ask questions, and try your hand at creating your own family diagrams or maps.
