MnDOT Closes Highway 210 in West Central Minnesota

The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol have closed Highway 210 from Highway 9 to Interstate 94 due to dangerous driving conditions. Highway 210 will remain closed until further notice.

Motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve and MnDOT and the Minnesota State Patrol reopen the road.

Motorists should plan accordingly. When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or sentenced to 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.

MnDOT has also expanded the no travel advisor due to dangerous driving conditions. No travel is advised on Highway 9 from Highway 210 to Barnesville, and Highway 75 from Moorhead to the Clay/Norman County Line near Perley. Motorists are advised not to travel on these road segments until conditions improve.
