Boy Scouts of America is excited to kick off their 33rd Annual “Scouting for Food Drive”. Our local council, Northern Lights Council, has a goal set of over 85,000 lbs of food.

In the Fargo / Moorhead and surrounding communities over 2000 Scouting youth and adult volunteers will be going out on Saturday, March 23.

Scouts will be going door to door to collect food for local food pantries. They have set a goal of over 25,000 lbs of food and with our communities help, we know they can reach it.

Here’s how YOU can help, on Saturday March 23, please set out a bag of non-perishable food on your door step before 9 am and Scouts will pick it up and deliver it for you.

If you live in an apartment or for some reason your donation wasn’t picked up, you can drop off your donation at any local Gate City bank before March 31.

Our Scouts and Adult volunteers put in over 3000 hours for this service project that benefits so many in our community.

Thank you for your donations and support of our community.
