The investigation into three deaths continues today in Becker County, Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, three people were found dead Monday in a home off Highway 34 in rural Ogema in Becker County.
Law enforcement responded to the residence following a call reporting a possible incident at the home.
Three individuals have now been identified by the Ramsey County Medical Examiners Office as the three found dead in the home: 28-year-old Emma LaRoque, who died of suicide due to a gunshot wound. In addition, her children, nine-year-old Shane Woods and four-year-old Frederick York died of homicidal violence.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed there is no threat to the public.
