An arrest has been made in connection with a Red Lake Falls two-month old girls death. The Red Lake County Sheriffs Office says 30-year-old Sarah Leah Kortan of Red Lake Falls has now been arrested and faces charges of second degree murder in the death of the baby girl. The Red Lake County Sheriffs Office says the death is the result of a physical assault that happened at Kortan’s home. The baby’s birth mother is currently in jail. Kortan will appear in court later this week.
