A Becker County, Minn., man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a tree struck him in Wednsday morning’s storms near Elbow Lake in northern Becker County. Authorities received the call at 6:10 a.m. 44-year-old Jeff Brian Panzer, of Farmington, Minn., was injured in the accident. Panzer and three others were camping on the east side of Elbow Lake in northern Becker County when the storm hit. Emergency workers needed chainsaws and a skid steer tractor to reach the injured man. White Earth Ambulance transported Panzer to St. Mary’s Hospital.
