Senator Kevin Cramer on Lance Yohe’s IJC Nomination

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer issued the following statement regarding the nomination of North Dakotan Lance Yohe to the International Joint Commission (IJC):

“Today the Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted Lance and several other nominations out of committee and onto the Senate floor. For decades, Lance has been a recognized leader on regional water issues, especially in the Red River Basin, which is why I recommended Lance to President Trump for this important post. Lance will bring extensive knowledge of the trans-boundary issues between North Dakota and Canada to the IJC, which exists to resolve conflicts involving the waterways flowing across the border.”
