Moorhead Police Identify Robbery Suspect

 

On Wednesday, May 1, at approximately 5:39 p.m., Moorhead Police, with the assistance from the Clay County Sheriff's Office, responded to a robbery at the Gate City Bank located inside the Azool Hornbachers, 950 40th Avenue South.

A suspect entered the bank and provided a bank employee with a note demanding money and stated they were armed. No weapon was displayed by the suspect. The suspect left the facility with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the robbery. The robbery does not appear to be random and there is no known risk to public safety at this point in time.

The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years of age, 5’10”, with a normal build. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a darker color shirt under a denim long sleeve button up, and wearing a dark baseball style hat with a white logo.
