Grand Forks Police Announce Results of Distracted Driving Campaign

 

The Grand Forks Police Department released the results of their April distracted driving campaign yesterday.

The campaign was a part of the North Dakota D-O-T’s campaign, which is aimed at reducing traffic crashes that are as a result of distracted driving.

During the month of April, six teams of officers worked 32 hours. Officers issued 25 distracted driving citations, two driving under suspension citations and one speeding citation. There were other traffic stops for various violations, resulting in warnings.
