Senator Kevin Cramer on the Confirmation of Export-Import Bank Board of Directors

U.S. Senator and Senate Banking Committee member Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) issued the following statement regarding the confirmation of three nominees to serve on the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank:

“For the first time in four years, the Export-Import Bank will have a functioning Board of Directors able to act upon nearly $40 billion in proposed transactions. Confirming these board members means businesses and job creators receive the assistance they need in this increasingly competitive global marketplace. Several North Dakota businesses rely on the Export-Import Bank to access new markets to sell their products. I am thankful to Leader McConnell for moving quickly on these nominations and for adopting reforms that streamlined the debate process.”
