A school bus carrying seven children, ages five to 15, rolled in rural Traverse County Thursday morning.
According to the Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at 8:03 a.m. The school bus was southbound on 740th Avenue. As the bus approached 680th Street, a 24-year-old male, driving a pickup westbound on 680th Street, struck the bus, causing it to change directions, eventually rolling into the west ditch.
All occupants of the bus were treated and released from the Wheaton Sanford Medical Center.
The male driver of the pickup was transported to Sanford in Wheaton by ambulance, and later to Fargo with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
