A 31-year-old Bismarck man was arrested Tuesday evening following a pursuit in West Fargo.
At around 10 p.m. Tuesday night, West Fargo police officers were dispatched to the area of 600 42nd Avenue West for a report of a suspicious person.
Officers arrived and identified a vehicle matching the description. After traffic violations were observed, an officer attempted to perform a traffic stop in the 600 block of 33rd Avenue West, at which time the vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued.
The vehicle became disabled near Aurora Elementary School, when the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Daniel William Brennan of Bismarck, fell into a construction area and was apprehended.
He was treated for injuries sustained in the fall and subsequently transported to the Cass County Jail.
Charges to Brennan include fleeing in a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under suspension and multiple narcotics charges.
