Multiple Injuries in Minnesota Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says ten people, in three vehicles, were involved in a crash Sunday morning in Mahnomen County.

According to the Patrol, the crash happened at 9:54 a.m. on Highway 50 at 300th Street in Waubun.

A 2005 Ford F150, followed by a 2006 Buick Rendezvous were traveling southbound on Highway 59.

The Ford pickup slowed to take a left turn at 300th Street, when the Rendezvous rear ended the Ford pickup, which then deflected toward northbound traffic, and ended up sideswiping a third vehicle, a 2015 Ford Expedition, which was northbound on Highway 59.

Three passengers in the Rendezvous were taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one in the Ford pickup or Ford Expedition were injured.

The Mahnomen County Sheriff and White Earth Tribal Police assisted at the scene.
