The Becker County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in the shooting that occurred in Maple Grove Township in rural Becker County on June 9.
Ronald Wayne Elias Thompson III, 18, of Detroit lakes, is being sought in connection with the investigation. He is known to carry firearms and currently has felony warrants for firearms and parole violations.
Thompson is named as a suspect in the June 9 shooting that killed 27-year-old Jamie Lee Bevins, Jr.
