Grand Forks Man Arrested Following Incident at Walmart

 

A 30-year-old Grand Forks man has been arrested following an incident late Thursday evening at the Grand Forks Walmart store, located at 5755 Gateway Drive.

According to the Police Report, at 10:28 p.m., officers responded to Walmart for a report of an unknown male in the electronic section with a gun.

The subject was located, and after a brief struggle with officers, was taken into custody. No firearms were found on the scene, according to police. There also were no indications that the male ever had a firearm, nor were shots fire.

No injuries were reported. Through an investigation, it was determined that the subject, Brandon DuBois, and a Walmart employee had an altercation.

DuBois was charged with Class C Felony terrorizing, Class C Felony preventing arrest and Class B Misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

There is no threat to the public, and Walmart remained open for its normal business hours.
