19th Avenue North will Fully Reopen to Traffic Today

Contractors for the City of Fargo’s 19th Avenue North road reconstruction and infrastructure improvement project will reopen the roadway today, June 19, by early evening.

Travel along 19th Avenue North between 57th Street North and 45th Street North will be fully open to motorists. Crews will remove all detour routes or temporary business access along 19th Avenue N. Over the next month crews will still be on site completing cleanup work off of the roadway surface.

As a reminder, the 45th Street N and 19th Avenue N intersection is an all-way stop. The new 45th Street N intersection moved to the north with the new road alignment of 19th Avenue N and was completed in September 2018. The existing intersection has been removed and railroad crossing has been updated to prepare the area for a future underpass.
