Grand Forks Man Charged With Terrorizing

 

A Grand Forks man has been charged with terrorizing following an incident last weekend in Grand Forks.

According to court documents, Jeffrey Scott Alldread is charged with a Class C Felony count of terrorizing following an incident in the early morning hours of July 6 in Grand Forks.

On July 6, authorities were called to the area of 4thAvenue North and North 8th Street for a disturbance at just after 3 a.m.

Authorities were able to locate a victim, Kurt Posey, Jr., who stated he was being shot at and was hit once by an older male with short hair and glasses near the YMCA parking lot.

A subsequent call came out at 600 1st Avenue North for weapons related about the same time.

At that time, authorities were able to find the suspect, Alldread, at 1st Avenue North and North 5th Street, and located a black nine millimeter handgun on him, which matched the description of the gun by the victim. Four nine millimeter casings were found near where the suspect was located.

The victim said he was talking to three males inside of a Chevy van in the parking lot in the alleyway of North 7th Street and North 8th Street at the 300 block. He stated that Alldread brandished a handgun toward him while they were talking, and the victim felt threated.

The suspect ran toward the YMCA, and the victim followed him. The victim was then fired at three to four times in the process and went back to his vehicle to get away from the suspect. The victim was hit in the left big toe.
