The Fargo Police Department and Fargo Fire Department responded to a string of dumpster fires in the downtown area between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Two of the fires were near 1st Avenue North and Broadway at 2:30 a.m., with the third near 20 8th Street South at 2:52 a.m., and a fourth near 404 8th Street South at 3 a.m.
A single crew extinguished all of the dumpster fires before they caused damage to nearby buildings and vehicles.
Police say there is no reason to believe the fires were connected to a separate fire, even though they happened at the same time.
