Street Fair Begins Thursday

The Fargo Street Fair begins Thursday and runs through Saturday, and the City is letting area residents and visitors to the street fair know they have options when it comes to transportation to and from the event. According to the City, beginning at 5 a.m. today (Wednesday) Broadway between 3rd Avenue North to 7th Avenue North intersections and 4th Avenue N between Broadway and 2nd Avenue North have been closed to traffic as the City of Fargo prepares to host the 2018 Downtown Fargo Street Fair from July 19 – 21. During the event, the following Broadway and 4th Avenue N intersections will remain open to cross vehicle or pedestrian traffic: 2nd and 3rd Avenue North, 6th and 7th Avenue North and 4th Street North. Broadway and 4th Avenue N will reopen late Saturday evening after the three-day event concludes. The City is maximizing resources by partnering with major organizations such as the Downtown Community Partnership, Fargo Parking and MATBUS to improve transportation and parking options for this popular summer celebration. In addition, people are encouraged to also bike to the downtown event.
