South High to Get Artificial Turf

Fargo Public Schools’ athletic complex at South High School is getting an upgrade. The upgrade was announced Thursday afternoon. Fargo Public Schools is the recipient of $1.2 million in the form of a donation for the purpose of placing artificial turf on their football and soccer field at South High. The installation of the artificial turf field will occur this summer and early fall, allowing some home football and soccer games for the 2018 season to be played on the new field.  Due to the installation process, some Bruin home games may need to be played at alternative locations.  Those changes will be announced by South High School as needed. The installation of the field will allow for an upgraded playing surface, and for additional use by physical education classes at South High School.
