Summer Rain Soaks Region

 

The region has seen another round of soaking rain. For most of the day on Thursday, the Red River Valley basin saw cloudy skies, and for some, a bunch of rain.
According to the North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network, or NDAWN, a station three miles southeast of Campbell, Minn., checked in Thursday night with the most rain, with a daily total of 3-point-77 inches. In second was a station two miles south of Marion, N.D., in southeast North Dakota, with 3-point-70 inches of rain. Six miles north of Wahpeton, 2-point-28 inches fell on Thursday. Fingal and Oakes both saw more than two inches of rain as well.

Friday is forecast to remain dry.
