Bike and Build Volunteers Give a Hand Up to a West Fargo Senior

 

Bike and Build team members join Rebuilding Together Fargo-Moorhead Area to assist an area senior revitalize and repair her home. Providing the volunteers to help her remain in the affordable home she loves! 

Marilyn is excited for July 25th ! Rebuilding Together Fargo-Moorehad Area with the help of  college students from across the country plan to give this long time West Fargo seniors home a much needed face lift .

Rebuilding Together affiliates nationwide bring together thousands of community volunteers each year, to provide free home repairs and modifications to low-income Americans – older adults, persons with disabilities, military veterans and families in need. Rebuilding Together partners with a multitude of organizations to Build a Safe, Healthy, and Thriving community!

Through service-oriented cycling trips, Bike & Build benefits affordable housing and empowers young adults for a lifetime of service and civic engagement. Founded in 2002,  Bike and Build has enlisted 3,300 riders volunteering 225,000 hours , biking over 10.5 million miles, and donating over 6.2 million dollars.

Additional details: Volunteers work to revitalize the home of a 76 year old retired paraprofessional with the West Fargo School district who's home desperately needs a new coat of paint!
