West Fargo Teacher Charged With Sex Crimes

The West Fargo Police Department says a former West Fargo teacher has been charged after a month-long investigation into possible sexual contact involving an adult female and a juvenile male.

According to a press release from the West Fargo Police Department, 37-year-old Shannon Moser has been charged with Luring a Minor, along with sex-related crimes with two male juveniles.

According to records with the West Fargo Public School District, Moser was a science teacher at West Fargo’s Liberty Middle School. She had been in the district since the 2016-17 school year, but resigned on July 12.

A statement from the West Fargo Public School District says, in part, “Since school is not in session, the district could confirm that Mrs. Moser does not currently have any contact with students through school-related functions.”

The two juvenile males are currently students in West Fargo, and are between the ages of 14 and 16, the Police Department says.

The department says the investigation into the incident is still active. The school district continues to cooperate with the Police Department in their investigation, and says it will not comment further on the situation.
