Treat Yourself to a Blizzard® for Children

The 13th annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day will take place on Thursday, Aug. 2, at area Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations. Participating locations will donate $1 or more of the proceeds from the day’s Blizzard® sales and Blizzard® coupon sales to Children’s Miracle Network benefiting Sanford Children’s.

Everyone is invited to stop by local Dairy Queen or DQ Grill and Chill locations and order a Blizzard®, which in turn will benefit local sick and injured children. Miracle Treat Day is an opportunity to savor a sweet treat to support Sanford Children’s Hospitals in both Fargo and Sioux Falls, each region’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Last year’s Miracle Treat Day raised nearly $245,000 for Sanford Children’s Hospitals in Sioux Falls and Fargo. Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $125 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.

Families touched by Children’s Miracle Network will be at their local DQs throughout the day, helping with this year’s event.
