At special meeting, Boschee indicates he’ll resign from N.D. Senate

FARGO, N.D. – There will be a vacancy in the North Dakota State Senate in the near future.

Fargo Mayor Josh Boschee, who currently holds a seat representing District 44 in the North Dakota State Senate and is the Senate’s Assistant Minority leader, addressed the issue Wednesday at a special meeting of the Fargo City Commission.

He was questioned whether or not he plans to resign the seat by Commissioner Michelle Turnberg.

“Yes, I’ll be resigning within the next month,” Boschee said.

Elected last month by Fargo voters, Boschee is serving as the City of Fargo’s first-ever full-time mayor.
