(WEST FARGO) — The man killed by gunfire Saturday near Prairie Heights Community Church in West Fargo has been identified by family.
His aunt, Rochelle Rech, has identified the man as her nephew, 25-year-old Austin Strom.
“His life was taken on the morning of August 17, 2024, at the parking lot of the church he attended. He was only 25 years old and devoted his life to God recently and was changing his life for the better,” she wrote in a post on the GoFundMe fundraiser page created for the purpose of helping raise funds for the family to help offset funeral costs.
West Fargo Police have not said what led to Saturday’s shooting.
