FARGO-MOORHEAD – Police and fire in Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead were kept busy over the holiday weekends responding to fireworks related calls.
Addie Stewart, the Public Information Manager for the City of West Fargo, told Flag Family News that the West Fargo Police Department responded to 33 fireworks-related calls for service. The West Fargo Fire Department responded to 3 fireworks-related incidents.
In Fargo, a total of 144 calls for service for fireworks were reported. Of those calls, Fargo Fire responded to a total of 11 incidents.
Moorhead Police responded to 72 calls. No injuries or fires were reported and no citations were given out.
