New Bill Would Implement Virtual Learning In Emergencies

(Bismarck, ND)  --  Some state lawmakers are hoping to keep virtual learning around after the pandemic.  House Bill 1232 would allow students to attend classes virtually were their school to close for inclement weather or other emergency conditions.  Each district would have to have a specific plan and at least 95-percent of student participation would be required.  Even if the bill passes, adopting a virtual plan would be optional for school districts.
