FCPH COVID-19 Vaccine Operation to Surpass 10,000 Doses Administered Next Week

(Fargo, ND) -- An amazing achievement has been reached by one local health care provider as the Coronavirus pandemic rages on.

The Fargo Cass Public Health COVID-19 vaccine operation is on pace to surpass 10,000 doses of vaccine administered during the week of February 15th.

“This is an incredible achievement, one that would not be possible without the tireless work of our team. Not only do we have outstanding staff who are working the actual vaccine clinics, but we also have staff who are active behind the scenes, making phone calls, answering questions and getting residents registered to receive vaccine. It is this combined effort that has gotten us to this point, where we can receive vaccine, contact eligible residents and get vaccine in arms as quickly and efficiently as possible,” said FCPH Director of Nursing Suzanne Schaefer.

As of February 7th, FCPH has administered a total of 9,952 doses of COVID-19 vaccine over the course of 23 clinics. This equates to an average of 433 doses administered per clinic.

FCPH is one of 69 enrolled providers of COVID-19 vaccine in Cass County and has administered approximately 31% of doses given in the county, as of February 8th.
