Coronavirus Tracker: Hospitalizations Drop Under 20 For First Time Since July 2020 in ND

(Bismarck, ND) -- A major milestone in working to continue to get the Coronavirus under control in North Dakota.

The department of health says now, only 19 North Dakotans are currently hospitalized by the virus, which is the first time since July of 2020 that the number has dropped below 20. Only one resident is requiring ICU care, currnently. 

100 additional cases of the virus were reported Tuesday in the state, including 37 in Cass County alone.

No new deaths were reported. 

The daily positivity rate sitting a bit higher however at 3.22%, while active cases of COVID-19 dropped slightly to 576.

157,604 residents have gotten at least one dose of the Coronavirus vaccine, while 264,281 total shots have been administered.
