Coronavirus Tracker: 1,107 New Cases, 13 New Deaths in MN

(St. Paul, MN) -- Coronavirus cases rising slightly in Minnesota Friday, despite Governor Walz announcing some relaxing of restrictions in the state.

The department of health reporting an additional 1,107 positive cases of the virus, including six in Clay County.

13 additional deaths were reported state wide over the past 24 hours.

At least 1,163,483 Minnesotans have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 660,019 total residents have been fully vaccinated.

Governor Walz also says over 72% of seniors have been vaccinated, and that over 40,000 shots are going into people's arms per day.
