(Reynolds, ND) -- A high speed chase near the Reynolds area leading to one arrest Tuesday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Madison Freeman took off from a I-29 traffic stop near Thompson around 10:48 a.m hitting speeds up to 120 miles per hour and she led officers on a chase.
Freeman reportedly swerved through the center median of the highway twice at high speeds.
After she took the Mayville exit, Troopers used a Pursuit Intervention Technique or PIT technique to end the pursuit. This is when a trooper uses the bumper of their cruiser to nudge and push a car they are chasing at a safe speed to turn them around and spin them out to avoid any other possible damage or accidents in the area.
Freeman was stopped after the PIT movement, and taken into custody without further incident. Charges are pending.
