Seven More Cases Of COVID-19 Variant Confirmed In North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND)  --  State health officials have identified additional cases of the more contagious COVID-19 variant.  The North Dakota Department of Health confirmed seven more cases yesterday but believe the actual number of people who had or have the strain to be higher.  Scientists say this variant, first identified in the United Kingdom, is 35 to 45-percent more contagious than the more common coronavirus strains found in the U.S.
