Coronavirus Tracker: 134 New Cases, One New Death in ND

(Bismarck, ND) -- Active cases and hospitalizations for COVID-19 rise in North Dakota Wednesday, while the positivity rate drops slightly. 

The state department of health reported an additional 134 cases of the virus over the past 24 hours, including 57 in Cass County alone.

One new death, a woman from her 70s from Emmons County, was also reported.

Active cases of the virus went up by 55 Wednesday to 711, while one more North Dakotan was hospitalized to bring that total to 16 state wide.

The daily positivity rate did decrease to 3.56%.

183,832 residents have gotten at least one dose of a Coronavirus vaccine, while 307,285 total shots have been administered.
