West Fargo Police Arrest Two People Connected to Sunday Shooting

(West Fargo, ND) -- Were getting some more clarity in one of the two shootings that occurred in West Fargo earlier this week.

West Fargo Police say as of Thursday evening, they have arrested two individuals in relation to the Sunday, March 21st shooting in the 1500 block of 11th Avenue East.

20-year-old Moorhead native Garrett Harm Morin and 20-year-old Fargo native Deonta David Taylor are in custody and charged with attempted murder.

The juvenile who was shot is in stable condition, and officers have confirmed again they were not the attempted target in the incident. A reported fight had broken out earlier in the day, and the shooting was meant as retaliation for someone else.

Authorities do say they are continuing to search for additional persons of interest who are believed to be involved in this shooting. If you have any information, pictures or video of Sunday’s incident, which happened around 8:50 p.m, you can contact the West Fargo Police Department at (701) 433-5500.
