Coronavirus Tracker: 2,553 New Cases, Four New Deaths in MN

(St. Paul, MN) -- A second straight day of over 2,000 reported Coronavirus cases, but relatively low deaths in Minnesota.

The state department of health is reporting 2,553 new cases of the virus Friday, including 30 in Clay County.

Four new deaths were also reported state-wide.

Over 1,720,811 Minnesotans have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 1,088,332 residents have been fully vaccinated. That equates to roughly 19.4% of the state's total population that has completed the vaccination process.
