Fargo Public Schools Narrowly Keeps Mask Mandate Through June 7th

(Fargo, ND) -- In a special meeting, the Fargo Public School Board voted 5-4 to keep the district's mask mandate in place through the end of the school year.

Masks will become optional on FPS campuses come June 7th, and many board members stated they didn’t see the issue in moving that date up by a few days.

However, those opposed to the motion stated both teachers and the teacher’s union wasn't on board, and that multiple agencies including Fargo Cass Public Health still recommend face coverings in schools.
