(West Fargo, ND) -- With the recent resignation of Dr. Kara Gravley-Stack, the West Fargo School Board is set to have a vacant position beginning on July 1st.
Those interested in filling the vacancy must submit the online application prior to 4:30PM on June 25th. In addition to submitting the online application, a candidate may discuss their interest and qualifications with one or more Board members. A committee of Board members will review applications and select finalists for an in-person interview the week of June 28, 2021.
The candidate ultimately selected by the Board will be required to fill out an affidavit of candidacy and statement of interests prior to being sworn in.

The term of an individual selected by appointment or special election to fill the vacancy extends until a successor is elected and qualified at the next election. In this instance, the appointment will go through June 30th, 2022.
