City of Moorhead give Garbage Service Change Notice Ahead of July 4th

(Moorhead, MN) -- A bit of a heads up from the City of Moorhead regarding trash collection ahead of Fourth of July weekend.

There will be no garbage pickup on Monday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day.

Monday's route (both garbage and recycling if this is your recycling week) will instead be picked up on Tuesday, July 6th.

"We will start pickup at 4:00 am on Tuesday," said the Public Works Department via a statement released to WDAY Radio. "We ask that everyone effected please place your garbage out the night before to ensure pickup. Also, your garbage may be picked up later in the day due to the double route. We appreciate your patience."

Additionally, the City of Moorhead, Garbage Transfer Station will be closed on July 5th.
