Brandon Larson Named Assistant Principal and Activities Coordinator at Discovery Middle School

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Public Schools has announced the assignment of Brandon Larson as the assistant principal and activities coordinator at Discovery Middle School. Larson assumes the position from Daniel Shultis who is now the North High School assistant principal and activities coordinator.

Larson comes from the West Fargo Public School District where he served as the dean of students at West Fargo High School for the 2020-21 school year. He spent nearly a decade within the West Fargo Public School District as a sixth and seventh grade teacher at Liberty Middle School and as a third and fifth grade teacher Eastwood Elementary School.

In additional to these positions, Larson has been heavily involved in school leadership positions such as head strength and conditioning coach at West Fargo High School, iPad lead teacher, several varsity and middle school coaching positions, math and science committee member, and more.

Larson holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, both from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He also holds a Physical Education North Dakota Endorsement and a North Dakota Secondary Principal Credential.
