(Grand Forks, ND) -- University of North Dakota freshman defenseman Brent Johnson is headed to the NHL.
Johnson was chosen by the Washington Capitals in the third round of Saturday's NHL Draft. He was the 80th overall pick.
Johnson, family, and friends watched the draft from Ralph Engelstad Arena.
