Moorhead Police Athletics League Hosting "Cops and Kids" Baseball Game

(Moorhead, MN) -- The Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League is hosting a friendly baseball game this evening to help build relationships and trust between area law enforcement and community youth.

This event is fashioned after the popular "Cops and Kids Hockey Game" held for the past 15 years. Thirteen youth baseball players from Clay County were selected and will take on a team of local officers. This event takes place at 6:30pm Thursday night at Matson Field.

The Moorhead PAL program strives to aid in the preventing of juvenile crime and violence by providing mentorship, civic/service, athletic, recreational, enrichment and educational opportunities to area youth.
