West Fargo Schools Names Elicia Hofmann Assistant Principal for L.E. Berger Elementary School

(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo Public Schools has announced that Elicia Hofmann has accepted the position as assistant principal for L.E. Berger Elementary School.

Hofmann started her career in education as an elementary teacher in 2006 for Roosevelt Public School in Carson, North Dakota. She spent one year as an elementary teacher in Sterling, North Dakota prior to being an elementary teacher for Mandan Public Schools from 2009 – 2012. From 2012 – 2019, she was employed with Bismarck Public Schools, first as an elementary teacher and then as an elementary instructional coach and principal intern. In 2019, she accepted the position as the elementary school principal for Richland School District.

Hofmann holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Texas State University and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of North Dakota.

After interviewing and subsequently selecting Hofmann, Mr. Peterson said, “Hofmann is motivated to provide the best quality education to all students, basing decisions for curriculum, instruction, and social-emotional learning on research and educational best practices. She believes that every student and staff member comes to school with a unique story, which will be a perfect match to the values we practice at L.E. Berger Elementary School.”

Hofmann will assume her role with the district in mid-August.
