No Injuries After Car Drives into Moorhead Apartment Building

(Moorhead, MN) -- Red River Valley Dispatch has confirmed to WDAY Radio that a car crashed into an apartment building Thursday evening in Moorhead.

Reports say Moorhead Police responded to the Summit Ridge Apartment Complex around 8:15pm.

"They were trying to park a vehicle and accidently hit the gas, not the break," said Moorhead Police Captain Deric Swenson via a statement to WDAY Radio. "The vehicle made contact with the building and also knocked out power for a short time. There were no injuries or citations as a result of the crash."

Captain Swenson adds that there was some structural damage to the building as well, and that management was notified.
