UPDATED: Woman Arrested After North Fargo Crash Caused Power Failures

UPDATE: Wednesday morning at 5:30 a.m., Fargo Police Officers, along with Fargo Fire and FM Ambulance, responded to a report of a one vehicle crash on 1 Ave. N. and 11 St. N. Officers learned the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kristina Jo Budke, 36 years old of Fargo, was traveling westbound on 1 Ave N at a high rate of speed and lost control of her vehicle in the 1000 block of 1 Ave. N. Once Budke was removed from the vehicle, she was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. A Drug Recognition Expert Officer identified signs of drug impairment with Budke and conducted an investigation. Budke was cited and released for DUI. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.

 

(Fargo, ND) -- Two people had to be rescued after a car crashes into a power pole in Fargo. The crash happened around 1st Ave North and 11th Street North. . Xcel Energy says more than 31-hundred customers were without power, and most have been restored. At least one of the crash victims was hurt, but it's not clear why the crash happened.
