Fargo Man Arrested for Driving Over Lawns, Dikes in North Fargo and Clay County

(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo man is behind bars after leading authorities on a wild chase Friday morning.

Fargo Police officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Grandwood Drive North for a report of someone driving a vehicle on the dike and through lawns. Upon officers arrival, they saw the vehicle near 32nd Avenue North and Broadway. An officer attempted to make a traffic stop and the driver fled. Officers did not pursuit the vehicle.

After stopping, they traveled in the last known direction of the vehicle to ensure damage to property or injury to persons did not occur. Officers then again located the vehicle being driven at normal speeds in the area of Cass County 20 and University Drive North. They continued to follow it from a distance. Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies were set up on the east side of the Cass County 20 bridge.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Bradley Steven Moderow, drove east over the bridge into Clay County, driving over their tire deflation device. Moderow was eventually arrested by Clay County for fleeing.

The vehicle Moderow was also identified as stolen.
