Driver and Passenger Hospitalized After North Fargo Crash

(Fargo, ND) -- The driver and a passenger have been taken to an area hospital after a crash in North Fargo Sunday evening.

The Fargo Police Department says they were dispatched at 6:28 p.m. to a crash on the east side of the viaduct, 1900 block of 12th Avenue North. The driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control while operating at a high rate of speed and rolled the vehicle.

The vehicle crashed into an apartment building causing some second and third floor balconies to collapse. The driver and one passenger have been transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is also assisting with the investigation. 

As of 7:20 p.m, one eastbound lane was closed, but traffic is still flowing in the area.
