ED CLAPP ELEMENTARY to HOLD 5th ANNUAL WALK-A-THON FUNDRAISER

The Ed Clapp Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is sponsoring the school’s fifth annual Walk-a-Thon, a healthy initiative fundraiser, on Thursday, September 30.

The event shows students healthy ways to build community and fundraise. The 448 kindergarten through fifth grade students will walk, run, or jog around the course during their physical education and music class time (see schedule below). For every $10 a student raises, they will earn a ticket to enter a prize drawing for items such as Skate City passes, Sky Zone passes, Red Hawks game passes, and more. In addition, there are larger prizes for the team and the individual classroom that raise the most money to benefit the PTA.

The goal is to raise $5,000 to benefit the Ed Clapp PTA. If the school reaches its goal, Ed Clapp Elementary Principal Jennifer Schuldheisz and Assistant Principal Nikki Nelson will dance on the roof of the school during the Walk-a-Thon.
