Moorhead Murder Suspect Out on Bond

(Moorhead, MN) -- A Minnesota man accused of murder is out on bond.

Court documents say that Idris Haji-Mohamed, who is charged with the murder of 32-year-old Abdi Abdi back on September 10th in Moorhead, posted $1 million bond on September 17th, and was released just three days later.

The 26-year-old suspect obtained the bond from Midwest Bonding LLC, and must stay in the state of Minnesota and be a law abiding citizen. Haji-Mohamed faces second degree murder with intent for the incident last month in which he is accused of shooting Abdi after following him from a gas station to an apartment complex off 17th street south, then running until he was caught some 300 miles away in Rochester.

Haji-Mohamed is due back in court Thursday.
